Responsibility

 

On the first floor, accountability and responsibility imply that I carry out that which is required of me – that which is imposed on me by whomever or whatever surrounds me, and that which I myself have undertaken to do.

On the second floor, perspective is broadened, and I am invited to perceive responsibility as a particular energy, differentiated from the total energy of unity and sharing, because I AM a co-creator of all creation, I and everything, one and altogether. But my choices are my responsibility, and therefore the primary aspects of my life – are also my responsibility. I am responsible for my deeds, my words, my feelings and my thoughts – their frequency attracts similar frequencies to me, so that it is I shaping the reality of my life and I am responsible for it. It is my responsibility to know the universal laws which are the signposts, and to act in accordance with them (because ”Ignorance of the law does not excuse us from the law’s penalties”). Even should I break a law (and it is preferable not to) – I take full responsibility for the consequences.

The emphasis in my practical conduct is on strict attention to my actions, ensuring that they are positive and unifying, through awareness of my responsibility towards myself and towards my superior partner, towards the One which is All.
